A soft, moist banana bread rich with the natural sweetness of ripe bananas, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth and mix in the melted butter.
  3. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Combine the baking soda and salt with the flour in a separate bowl.
  5. Fold the flour mixture into the banana mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool before slicing and enjoying!

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor. Consider adding nuts or chocolate chips for variations.
