A moist and flavorful banana bread that uses oil for added tenderness, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup nuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ripe bananas and sugar in a mixing bowl, mixing until well blended.
  3. Fold in the oil.
  4. Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly before removing from the pan.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor. Avoid overmixing the batter.
