Delightful and colorful cookies perfect for Easter celebrations, with a crunchy exterior and soft interior.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour blend)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Food coloring and sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt until combined.
  4. Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough to desired thickness and cut into shapes.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  7. Let cool before decorating with icing and sprinkles.
