Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 1/3 cup oil or applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Combine mashed bananas with sugar and eggs, mixing well.
  4. Fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
