A quick one-skillet meal featuring tender steak cubes and bright zucchini, finished with garlic butter for a savory, indulgent dish in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, cubed
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes, lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steak cubes, searing until browned, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet to avoid overcooking.
  4. Melt the butter in the same skillet.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. Add zucchini to the garlic butter and cook until just tender-crisp.
  7. Return the steak to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter, heating through for another minute.

Notes
