Delicious and comforting homemade cinnamon rolls with a sweet cream cheese glaze, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix the yeast with warm milk and let it activate.
  2. Combine the wet ingredients with flour and sugar.
  3. Knead the mixture until you have a soft dough.
  4. Let the dough rise until it doubles in size.
  5. Roll out the dough, spread with butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Roll into a log and slice into individual rolls.
  7. Bake until golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Drizzle with cream cheese glaze before serving.

Notes

Make sure milk is lukewarm. Knead well for a fluffy texture. You can prepare the rolls the night before to rise in the fridge.
