Charming mini flower pies filled with your favorite fruits or fillings, perfect for celebrations or cozy treats.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, chilled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons cold water
  • Filling of choice (fresh fruits, jams, custards)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Chill the butter and flour together for the crust.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add cold water, one tablespoon at a time, to form a dough.
  5. Roll out the dough to a quarter-inch thickness.
  6. Use a flower-shaped cutter to cut out dough pieces.
  7. Layer the crust in a muffin tin.
  8. Fill each crust with your chosen filling.
  9. Top with another flower-cut piece of dough.
  10. Bake until golden brown and bubbly, about 20-25 minutes.

Notes

For a flakier crust, chill your dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out. Experiment with fillings for a variety of flavors.
