A comforting and moist banana bread perfect for using up overripe bananas, ideal for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter, sugar, and eggs.
  4. Whisk together the dry ingredients in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mix to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Notes

For the best flavor, use well-ripened bananas. Avoid over-mixing to keep the loaf tender. You can add nuts or chocolate chips for extra taste.
