Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh peaches, diced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, very cold
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk (optional for dairy-free)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare dough by mixing flour, sugar, and salt, then cutting in cold butter until crumbly.
  3. Add almond milk gradually to form a dough.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into manageable pieces.
  5. Layer the dough pieces on top of each other for the iconic cruffin swirl.
  6. Fill the center with a spoonful of sweet peach filling.
  7. Fold the dough over to encase the filling.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
