Delightful rolls filled with rich flavors, perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
  • 1 cup sautéed vegetables (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread the filling evenly.
  6. Shape the rolls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Let them proof for 30 minutes before baking.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
