Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Assorted fresh fruits (strawberries, kiwi, blueberries)
  • Buttercream or cream cheese frosting

Instructions

  1. Prepare your cake batter by mixing the wet and dry components until just combined.
  2. Pour the batter into cake pans and bake at the specified temperature for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Allow the cakes to cool completely before frosting.
  4. Stack the larger layer on a cake stand, spreading a generous layer of frosting between the two tiers.
  5. Decorate the top layer with vibrant fruits for a burst of color.

Notes

For best results, measure ingredients accurately and let the butter reach room temperature for smooth frosting. Rotate pans halfway through baking for even cooking.
