Ingredients

  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese frosting (or desired frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl (cake flour, baking powder, and salt).
  3. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until frothy.
  4. Add the oil to the egg mixture and blend well.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Pour the batter into a lined cake tin.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.
  9. Frost the cooled cake with cream cheese frosting.
