Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line cupcake tins with paper liners.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
- Sift together the flour and baking powder, then gradually mix into the batter.
- Pour in the milk and mix until the batter is smooth.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool completely before decorating the tops as butterfly wings with frosting and toppings.
