Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup cheese, shredded (your choice)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
Instructions
- Mix warm milk with sugar and yeast; let sit until frothy.
- Add flour, salt, minced garlic, and melted butter to the yeast mixture.
- Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 60 minutes).
- Shape the dough into rolls; place on a baking sheet.
- Brush rolls with remaining melted garlic butter and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with olive oil and use plant-based cheese. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days or freeze for longer storage.
