Delicious chicken shawarma wraps featuring tender, marinated chicken, fresh veggies, and warm pita bread, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp coriander
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or mint)
  • Tzatziki or garlic sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a mix of yogurt, olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the chicken over medium-high heat until well-seared and cooked through, about 15 minutes.
  3. Slice the cooked chicken thinly.
  4. Prep your vegetables by slicing the tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions.
  5. Assemble the wraps by layering the chicken and veggies in warmed pita bread.
  6. Serve with tzatziki or garlic sauce and fresh herbs.

Notes
