Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • Festive sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder) in one bowl.
  3. Whisk together wet ingredients (eggs, milk, butter, vanilla) in another bowl.
  4. Mix the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into lined cupcake tins.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until they spring back when pressed.
  7. Cool the cupcakes completely before frosting.
  8. Frost with buttercream and decorate with sprinkles.
