A flavorful Grilled Balsamic Steak Salad packed with protein and fresh veggies, perfect for dinner or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • Crumbled cheese (optional)
  • Crusty bread (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the steak for 5 to 7 minutes per side until desired doneness.
  4. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Toss the mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and cucumbers together in a bowl.
  6. Top the salad with grilled steak slices and drizzle with remaining dressing before serving.

Notes

Store the salad in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days, keeping dressing separate. Steak can be frozen for up to 3 months.
