Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in salsa verde for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grease the grates.
  3. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Add pepper jack cheese during the last few minutes of grilling to allow it to melt.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after grilling for juicier results. Adjust the salsa verde seasoning to taste before marinating.
