Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound ground beef
- 6 slices cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Condiments of choice (ketchup, mustard, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Shape the ground beef into small, uniform patties.
- Season the patties with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and sear the patties until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Layer the cooked patties on the rolls, then top each with a slice of cheese.
- Add the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
- Serve warm with lettuce, tomato, and condiments.
