Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin powder (grass-fed recommended)
- 2 tablespoons cold water (for blooming)
- 1 cup warm water or herbal tea (not boiling)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)
- A pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Sprinkle gelatin over 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl. Let bloom for 2 minutes without stirring.
- Pour 1 cup of warm water or herbal tea over the bloomed gelatin. Stir for 30 seconds until fully dissolved.
- Add lemon juice, honey if using, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir to combine.
- Drink warm immediately, or pour into a container and refrigerate 1–2 hours for a soft gel. Enjoy!
Notes
Use warm (not boiling) water to preserve gelatin’s gelling properties. Grass-fed gelatin has the cleanest flavor. For gummies, double the gelatin and pour into silicone molds before chilling.
