Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or plant-based alternative)
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (cilantro or parsley), optional
  • Diced avocado or tomatoes, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  4. Sear the chicken in the skillet until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes on each side.
  5. Add shredded cheese on top of the chicken, cover, and let it melt, about 1-3 minutes.
