- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Pound the chicken breasts to even thickness, about ¾ inch thick.
- Mix together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly on top of each chicken breast.
- Place the chicken in the baking dish and sprinkle with optional paprika or Italian seasoning.
- Bake uncovered for 35-45 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Pounding the chicken to even thickness ensures it cooks evenly. For a flavor boost, marinate the chicken in the mayo mixture for a few hours before baking.
