Delightful peach crumb bars with buttery crumble and juicy peaches, perfect for summer picnics or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add the cold butter and combine until crumbly.
  4. Press a portion of the mixture into a baking dish to form the base.
  5. Combine peaches with lemon juice and layer over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  8. Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature; excellent with vanilla ice cream.
