Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken (breast or thigh)
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in yogurt and garam masala for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until browned.
- Add the diced tomatoes and cream to the skillet.
- Simmer the mixture for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute coconut milk for heavy cream and dairy-free yogurt.
