Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh cucumbers, sliced
- 1 cup distilled white vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons dill seeds
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Optional: sliced jalapeƱos or radishes
Instructions
- Wash and slice your cucumbers into rounds or spears.
- Combine the vinegar, sugar, and spices in a saucepan.
- Heat gently until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat.
- Pack the cucumber slices into sterile jars.
- Pour the warm brine over the cucumbers.
- Seal the jars tightly and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before enjoying.
Notes
Make sure cucumbers are submerged in brine to maintain their crunch.
