Delightful salted caramel cookies with a rich, buttery flavor and a sweet and salty twist.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup caramel bits
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  4. Fold in the caramel bits carefully.
  5. Scoop large tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spaced out for even baking.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  7. Cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
