Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened for frosting
  • Food coloring (assorted colors)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare cupcake liners in a muffin tin.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl and wet ingredients in another.
  3. Mix the two until just combined.
  4. Fill the liners about two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  5. Cool the cupcakes completely before decorating.
  6. Beat the softened butter with confectioners’ sugar, adding a splash of milk.
  7. Divide the buttercream and color it with your preferred food dyes.
  8. Pipe vibrant flowers on each cupcake using different piping tips.
